Martin Practitioner Award from the ASEE Civil Engineering Division, an award issued annually to a practicing engineer for career-long contributions to engineering education.\u00a0 The award recognized his contributions in the areas of engineering licensure and the accreditation of university engineering programs on behalf of various national engineering organizations.\u00a0 He has given multiple presentations to academic audiences at ASEE conferences regarding engineering licensure, served a ten year stint on the Board of Directors of ABET and co-authored the NSPE Engineering Body of Knowledge.
