Daniel Webster Council Hike-A-Thon 2023
Congratulations to Jason Beaudet and his son Henry for hiking 60.3 miles in this year’s Daniel Webster Council Hike-A-Thon to support their cub scout pack.
Jason is a Den Leader in Goffstown Cub Scout Pack 99 and headed up the Pack’s first time participating in this annual fundraiser through Daniel Webster Council. Each participating Cub Scout created a fundraising page and committed to hiking at least 1 mile to support their Pack. Some Scouts set personal goals to hike more than the minimum – like Jason’s 8-year-old son Henry, who set a personal goal of hiking 50 miles between September 1 and November 12 this year. Henry met and exceeded his goal, hiking a total of 60.3 miles. Jason and Henry hiked every one of those miles together, and Henry raised $550. Go Henry and Jason! In total, Pack 99 Cub Scouts, who are in kindergarten through fifth grade, hiked a total of 306.25 miles and raised a total of $9,050.
