CMA Engineers is currently providing construction service for the City of Manchester, NH along a section of the South Manchester Rail Trail (SMRT) between Gold Street and Perimeter Road. The project broke ground in January 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2023. The project will construct approximately one mile of paved trail along the former Manchester Lawrence Railroad corridor, including the rehabilitation of a near century old 153-foot-long wood trestle bridge over Cohas Brook that has stood dormant since the late 1980’s. This is the last remaining wood trestle bridge in the City of Manchester, NH (see WMUR story below).
