CMA Engineers has expanded its Portland office into an adjoining building to support continued staff growth and an expanded range of municipal engineering services. The expansion reflects CMA Engineers’ long-standing commitment to municipal public works engineering. For more than 35 years, the firm has partnered with communities across northern New England, providing planning, permitting, design, and construction administration for public infrastructure projects.
The Portland office is led by Structural Practice Lead Liam Kalloch, who brings more than a decade of experience in structural and bridge engineering across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, and has led a wide range of municipal infrastructure and transportation projects.
To support this growth, CMA Engineers recently added two staff members in Portland:
-
Adam Greenlaw, Senior Structural Project Manager strengthens the firm’s structural engineering capacity supporting municipal infrastructure projects.
-
Ashley Filion, Project Manager supporting environmental, solid waste and civil engineering services.

“By expanding our space and our team, we’re better positioned to help communities plan, design, and deliver critical infrastructure projects,” said Liam Kalloch. The Portland team now includes added capacity in municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, coastal resiliency, and solid waste.
CMA Engineers is a consulting engineering firm with offices in Portland, Maine, and Portsmouth and Manchester, New Hampshire, with a dedicated a team of 40 staff and 22 Professional Engineers.
