CMA Engineers designed the replacement of stormwater, sanitary sewer, and drinking water infrastructure as part of the overall roadway and streetscape improvement project on Madbury Road. CMA Engineers assisted the town with the SAG, CWBRF and ARPA applications for this project. The project extends 7,000 linear feet from Main Street to NH Route 4.
Key Elements:
- The new stormwater system will provide a trunkline with new catch basins to effectively convey stormwater along the improved roadway corridor
Stormwater BMPs will be implemented to improve treatment of runoff - The new sanitary sewer system will replace existing sewer pipe with improved pipe material, appropriate sizing, and realign sewer alignments to enhance operations and maintenance
- The new water system will address substandard fire flows, and replace an existing booster station to include new pumps, controls, and SCADA system
